Pharmacy tech here, part time at Walgreens & full time at the hospital. Hospital work ain’t easy, a lot of walking but pay is way better! I work inpatient so don’t deal with patients just nurses.

I do 11 hour shifts 8pm-7am 7 on 7 off. The 7 straight days off are LOVELY… sleep schedule be a mess tho

I currently work both retail and hospital. I have been a retail tech for 20 years before I changed to hospital. I have a coworker of mine who was a retail tech for one year and then she switched.

When I applied and did the pharmacy technician interview at a hospital in south Florida, they said you can’t wear jewelry, makeup, or fake nails and nail polish.
