so well said! I specialize in reactive and high medical need fosters. I cannot think of a time I've seen an animal put down so quickly, unless they were injured beyond repair.

The shelter in my area even they are closed will still accept stray animals and let you come get your lost pet.

Yes! please don't think ALL shelters are like this. The majority of shelter staff truly care for the animals that come through like they're their extended family while there.
