BEAUTY INSIGHTS💡Sometimes people ask, how can I confidently understand whether or not a beauty product is “quality”? The answer is, texture of a product and loads of experience. There are so many facets to being a product developer, and there’s no one path to get there. The best beauty product developers and industry veterans would tell you that expedite and learning on the job is the best way to get better AT your job. I always try to explain to people how much your background, experiences, and everything in between shape the kind of PD person you are. It’s not just about the job—it’s about how you approach it, what you prioritize, and the perspective you bring to the table. For me, I have a VERY strong sense of touch, and am also very sensitive to it. This is what I call having a strong sensory-memory, this is what Christina helped me realize. This helped me in my career remember textures for YEARS, when I would feel something at manufacturing facilities or trade shows, and be able to remember that same texture once a brand launched it on the market. But this is MY journey. Remember, everyone’s journey in the beauty industry is so different, and the different people who work inside bring different perspectives and sevenths that help bring the beauty products you love to life. And that’s what makes it such a cool, dynamic place and role in beauty pd that I love sharing with y’all on this platform! Alongside education (thanks wifey for your Ph.D!) Our goal is that you always something on The Lipstick Lesbians channel! What other beauty industry insights are you curious to learn more about beauty queens? ♥️ #beautyproductdevelopment #productdevelopment #BeautyTok #beautyinsights #makeup #thelipsticklesbians
