I put a limiter on my audio so I can be loud as I want without worry

I set my mic to peak at -15db, but put a boost on the obs output so it's louder for the audience 😁

Never knew that. My problem is when people complain about my audio being "too quiet" and I don't want to blow my ears out when I'm playing a game on my PC 😐

The thing I started telling people to do is look for that black bar in the meter, not the color. Get that black bar to at minimum -30!

never had an issue being loud enough, my mic always cut out, but I figured out the problem. apparently audio has a bit rate set up in it. and mine was set low. changed it to, no longer cut out.
