I would add psychology to that list. You can’t make any money unless you go for higher ed, but most don’t find that out until it’s too late.

I don’t regret being an English major. It helped me become a better writer which is useful for a variety of professions. I also got to read lots of amazing books.

Teachers are held to high standards, expectations, and accountability, but they are not fairly compensated for all they do, and the work they do is never good enough. Glad you got out!👍🏼
