My vet always told me that parvo can come from anywhere. People can even carry it in on their shoes. You did everything right. Bentley is such a cutie. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We got a goldendoodle pup and she ended up in the vet 2 days after we got her and had to stay for a week. Luckily she had coccidia instead of parvo but it was still extremely sad and frustrating.

I had the same issue with my sweet baby lab, Sadie bug! She almost died with parvo also and my husband paid over 1,000 for her vet bills.

Parvo typically has an incubation period before symptoms show after exposure. It’s normally about 3-7 days but can be up to 14 days. So glad she’s okay!

What state do you get her in? I follow someone else that just took in a chocolate lab in with issues too! Looks to be about the same age.

had this same issue with my chocolate lap pup when we got her!!! same night we got her, we had to take her to the emergency vet for vomiting and diarrhea 🥺

i found a puppy and instantly took it in and got him all his shots then like a week later he got super sick and was doing the same thing he went down hill so fast he is now a year old and so happy❤️

I use to work at a vet clinic and parvo is tough a lot of dogs don’t make it and a lot of owners don’t wanna deal with it. It is definitely hard thing to watch. Bentley is so lucky to have y’all.

My moms baby Coco lived through parvo too but we almost did lose her. My mom had to fight the vet because they wanted x-rays to get more money and we had to tell them we know she has parvo. We could tell so when we went the second time, we told them test her for parvo. Sure enough it was parvo and thankfully we were able to take her home and we nursed her back to health ourselfs. She’s now 5 years old and she got it at 4 months old. ❤️It was very scary though!

Im so glad she is doing better✝️🩷 i bought a chocolate lab (girl) Arella is now 4 months old 1,700 is what i paid she is so chunky and so lovable🌺🐾
