@andrewoptics: The Power of Masking Pt. 2 ⬇️ Utilizing various masking tools allows you to shape light and create a perfectly balanced scene. In case you missed my first post, here are a few tips I use when masking in my edits: Feather and Flow: Feathering softens mask edges, while flow helps control the strength of your adjustments. I typically keep my feathering high and flow low for the smoothest transitions. Range Masking: Refine your edits based on color or luminance. This is perfect for precise adjustments in areas with similar tones or specific luminous values you want to exlclude. I used this in the upper left part of the sky to avoid adding too much brightness. Brushes: Use the brush tool to make specific areas of your image pop, like highlighting the waves in this example. Layering Masks: Combine different masking techniques (brush, gradient, radial) for the most control over your edit. #photoedit #photoediting #lightroomedits #lightroomtutorials #lagunabeach #longexposurephotography
