@urbex.tx: This Elementary school🏫was closed in 2011 due to the Houston School Board shutting it down along with three other schools to save money. Families were devastated as it had been an integral part of the community as it served students for close to 60 years. It was closed due to low enrollment which made the small school too costly to maintain.
