1/2 Each person grieves in their own way. And it can take a different amount of time for each person. There is no 'right' length of time for a person to grieve. There is 7 stages of grief.

I wish I could tell you it gets easier but sadly it doesn’t. We just learn to live with the heart ache, 6 years this year since I lost my dad and it gets harder and harder to live without him.

To me my grief is like the ocean, some days it just laps at my feet, but then it can be like a tsunami & just engulfs me. I lost my younger sister 2.5yrs ago & it still feels like yesterday.

I’m sorry for your loss 💔 Denial is first and many don’t understand until you experience it. I went on with life like I had a cold. I had terminal stage 4 inoperable brain cancer. Prognosis 12 mnths.

the stages I went through when my brother past 2 years ago was denial, anger, then refusal of believing that he past and that he was just angry with me and he doesn't wanna talk to me, depression

I lost my dad 9 years ago which was a sudden death. Absolutely all these things you are feeling are “normal” it doesn’t get easy as you will always have memories or events that pop up where you wish
