I did 71 placements in a year, within the systems this is something that happens daily. on top of that other serious things that get brushed under the carpet!! I'm living proof!!

I’ve had many foster children arrive with bin bags of their belongings. Usually straight from parents. That’s impossible to enforce unless social workers start carrying proper bags however.

I did that in 2001 when I was I care ,all black bags , tbh the same happend to me when I was dumped at the council after I left hospital in 2011

I worked for a charity called Voices from Care we held a bin bag campaign over 10 years ago. And they are still doing it 😡

I had bin bags 13 years ago and it was raised as an issue then why are children still being moved with bin bags why is this still happening absolutely disgraceful.

I’m 56 & moved homes & schools so much,I lost everything & finally ran away at 15 1/2 was on my own from then on. My life was tough but it’s really good now.just because we have a rough start doesn’t mean we can’t find happiness &joy.🤗

My bags would get “lost” and my furniture would be no longer usable as things would get “lost” in the process of moving.

I think they’ve made it so you’re not allowed to move with bin bags, you have to have a suitcase or bag, they’ve totally missed the point, it’s not the bags it’s the entire system
