@ryan_missionupgrade: Have you ever felt these emotions when you’ve tried to stick to a diet? Guilt? Shame? It’s no nice is it I’ve been there myself many times through the years Now first of all I want to say I am not saying that you should necessarily eat processed food The more whole foods the better That goes without saying But let’s be completely realistic here Are you going to be able to go the rest of your life without any sort of processed food? Or meals out? Or alcohol? There is no denying that these things are bad for us But is it really necessary to never touch any of these ever again Or do you even plan on it? If you think that the answer to your problems is to cut out absolutely everything then you’re not going to last much longer than 2 weeks You should be looking to improve your nutrition and eat less processed food and more whole foods, change your lifestyle overall, drink more water and exercise more A don’t know about you but I actually like going out for food I like having a few beers now and again I’m still fit and strong and healthy and happy It doesn’t have to be All or Nothing That’s the mindset that’s holding you back in the first place This also isn’t a dig at any specific diets Do what works for you But the amount of people that I’ve spoke to that have went from one extreme to the other and then back again because they couldn’t keep it up is mad If you rarely even cook a home made meal then do you seriously think you’ll be able to keep up only eating whole foods? What’s your opinion? Have you tried a new “diet” and went back to your old ways after a couple of weeks?
