@mummyandherthree.autism: I can spot neurodiversity so easily now that I have Oliver, in adults and children. This is because of years of research into it, going through signs over and over, how the spectrum varies and how it can present so differently in person compared to another. It can be tempting to tell people when I can see traits in someone because knowing and understanding yourself is always going to be better than not. However, most people need time to process things themselves. I have also found that so many people have come to me eventually, asking about my opinion on things and whether they are worrying for nothing, and my answer is, for most parents/people autism would never be on their radar or a question and because they are asking me about it, there is usually a valid reason for that.
