@foodwithstyle_official: Apple Roses Recipe 🤍 This recipe for Apple Rose Pastries is a stunning and delicious treat that’s perfect for impressing guests or enjoying as a special dessert.🥰 📝 Ingredients: - 1 sheet of puff pastry (about 275 g, rectangular, from the refrigerated section) - 2 medium-sized apples (e.g., red varieties like Gala or Braeburn) - 2 tbsp lemon juice - Apricot jam - 1 tbsp water - 2 tbsp sugar - Powdered sugar for dusting 🤍 Instructions: 1. Wash the apples, cut them in half, and remove the core. Slice the apple halves into very thin slices. It’s important that the slices are even and thin so they can be easily shaped. Prepare a bowl with water and lemon juice, and place the apple slices in it to prevent browning. 2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 5-6 even strips. Each strip should be about 5 cm wide and the entire length of the puff pastry. 3. Spread the apricot jam evenly over the puff pastry strips. 4. Place the apple slices, overlapping slightly, on the top half of each puff pastry strip, with the rounded side of the apple slices slightly extending beyond the edge of the dough. Fold the bottom part of the puff pastry over the apple slices, securing them between the layers of dough. Carefully roll each strip into a rose, ensuring the apple slices remain visible. 5. Sprinkle the tops of the roses with sugar to add extra sweetness. Brush the edges with egg yolk. 6. Place the apple roses in a muffin tin to help them hold their shape while baking. Preheat the oven to 180°C (top and bottom heat). Bake the apple roses in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, until the puff pastry is golden brown and crispy. If the apples brown too quickly, loosely cover the roses with aluminum foil. 7. Remove the apple roses from the muffin tin and let them cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired. This Apple Rose Pastry recipe is not only visually stunning but also delicious. Enjoy! 🤍
