It also helps, when you get to basic, to find the biggest, meanest looking drill sergeant there and punch him in the face. Got to let ‘em know you ain’t no bitch, and stand on business😁🤣

We used to call their head gear , the smokybear hat. The Drill Sergeant will put their hat on the ground. and tell us to run to another area. DON'T STEP ON THAT HAT.
