This is the future of mma, when you compare MMA history to boxing history, mma is in its infancy, your average MMA fighter now has probably started training after they turn 16, but the truth is as much as people don’t like it, the future of mma will look a lot like boxing, to where your average mma fighter will start at around the ages of 4-13, but the skill level will 10x that of modern mma fighters, the one aspect of fighting that boxers have over mma, which is perfect technique, high level defense, smooth natural confident movement, cage generalship, extremely quick reflexes, high level hand and mic feinting and etc, pretty much if Conor McGregor had the punch technique and the 5 round pacing of ilia topuria, and the grappling of khabib. And the crazy thing is that dude may or may not be championship material.
