these newer trucks are nice but sure do ha e alot of problems. currently dealing with lifter on '15 chevy. my '03 went 300k with minimal maintenance

It’s not timing chain rattle, the later model eco-boost have a dual chain, never heard of one stretching, notorious for phasers, though the first eco-boost had a single timing chain that stretched
