It’s so different now for kids. Because my mom worked similar and I lived for after school programs and playing outside. The weekends were good enough for me my mom would take me to do little things.

I always say there isn’t enough hours in a day or days in a weeks for me. And two days off from work isn’t enough either. It’s ok to cry and have breakdowns. ❤️

Girl I feel your pain. My kid skol is only 3 mins away but since I have to be at work at 630am I have to pay a teacher to take him and he has to do after school bcus I dont get home till 4 b/c of work

I had a similar situation with my kids and I used to use my lunch break to pick them up, talk to your manager and explain the situation so they are aware that you need to step out at 3 to pick them.

I have struggled with these thoughts for so long. Honestly during COVID I was blessed to be with her and be by her side while she did school online. But it all went back to this 🥺
