I hate the new lid. It hurts my teeth with the suction, you have to pull SO hard to get barely a sip. And after I washed it I had to rinse forever to get the soap residue out of it. It's terrible.

I prefer the old one. I'm not holding my cup upside down! it works perfectly fine. they didn't need to change it. they just needed to make straw covers!
