We were told to trash the car seats after I sprayed the straps with Dawn powerwash. I cried because I did it to both Nuna execs. $1500 later.

You can wash the straps the come all the way out in case they ever need to be replaced

Please do a quick google search on the dawn power wash for car seat straps and also look at your manual. We have the same car seat and it says not to use any cleaner. Only very diluted soapy water.

Try using Persil mixed with water to clean the straps. I hope it helps!

I keep large ziplock bags in the car for this very reason! You can also buy the emesis bags that they use in hospitals from Amazon but I always forget

I just saw a video of someone who’s kids get carsick too; they putthose long sleeve shirt bibs on while in the car seats! Maybe that would help catch any potential messes? 🤷🏻♀️

I know Nuna’s are expensive but you should look into the Chicco nextfit zip! Makes cleaning the car seat 100x easier.

My son threw up in his car seat when he was younger and I put coffee grounds in a bowl in the car and let it sit and it helped get the smell out of my car!!
