I think Lucie jones is the perfect example of adding riffs when they’re needed and not every 10 seconds, her riffs are always at the most gut wrenching moments, not just for the sake of it

Theatre performances need to be paid just as much as tv/film actors and even athletes! It’s such a demanding job and you deserve it with all the work you do!!

Completely agree about the equity card. Also would give lots of actors respect for smaller scale/community theatre and even larger scale regional theatres- grafting and earning your stripes matter!

Yes to riffs and yes to equity cards! I’m 10 years out of DS, and I have worked so hard in TIE and touring small scale and still 🤞🏻 for west end one day because I ADORE what I do, no glory needed!
