Christmas and Easter were originally pagan holidays so I still celebrate both.

I've never understood this question. When you're not religious, Christmas is Santa, reindeer, and gift themed. Easter is bunny, egg, and chocolate themed. Just fun, family, and feasting 🥰

Neither of my parents are Christian but we’ve always celebrated Christmas and Easter. It’s about tradition and family.

I celebrate Christmas because it’s a family tradition and since my father died last year, it’s even more important for me to be with family and keep tradition alive.

In Norway we still use Yule (Jul in Norwegian). So the name is still pagan as before christianity.

I think I've read somewhere that Christmas actually derived from a pagan holiday and also that Jesus's birthday isn't on Christmas like is so widely spread.

A lot of peoples Christmas celebrations are not remotely religious. I don’t even know if my kids know that it has a religious connotation.

Easter I literally just buy an Easter egg, I wouldn’t call that celebrating Easter 😂 for me “celebrating” a religious holiday would involve going to church OR doing something actually linked to the/1

I also feel like people participating in holiday/events like Christmas or Easter is kind of like when you have a friend of a different religion or culture & celebrate those days with them? (1/2)

For me it’s the opposite we were taught that Christmas is a bad holiday. so one of the first things I’m gonna do when I am independent is trying my best to celebrate the holiday 💔😁

Christmas is about spending time with family, decorating, eating certain food, gift exchanges and other traditions. I no longer stress about getting all the cooking done around church services.

My family and I used to celebrate Christmas and Easter but we stopped (cause there's no real point, it was fun when we were kids but not anymore). We only kind of celebrate birthdays
