Growing up, all I had were books. No friends. No hobbies. Just books. By the end of highschool, I’d read about 1000, at 45 yrs old, now…over 2,000, easy…all kinds of subjects. …and it’s ROUGH out here, being significantly more informed than most people. ROUGH. 😂

I love Chris Hedges writing. I’d recommend Potential History: Unlearning Imperialism by Ariella Aïsha Azoulay … and The Long Haul, Myles Horton.

I also think people don’t know what they like to read, school/college has burned them out. I truly think if you say you don’t like reading you just haven’t found the right book yet.
