if the physical games are gone then digital games should be no more than $40 per game. it is not costing them any overhead besides making the game itself.

this is the perfect time to switch to pc. if you can spend 700 for the ps5 pro you can spend 700 on a computer that will be just as good if not better than a ps5 pro.

please keep physical games an what's bad is a lot of there companies can take away the digital copy you own at any point even if you buy it. they can basically steal it back

No more cd means they can take your games away at any time. This has happened with music and digital movies. I'll forever have a pc and buy my games cause they are MY games and I'll forever have it.

The ps5 pro price point is HORRIBLE and selling a physical disc drive separately for 99.99? So in Canada it’s going to be over 1000 bucks with taxes and everything……..gonna be a no from me dawg.

I`m assuming the PS5 pro is equipped with a 8TB hard drive cause those digital games have HUGE file sizes. Otherwise it doesn't make logical sense to go all digital.

I prefer my physical copy so I don't have to worry about losing them. if you own it digital and for some reason they have to remove it from the library you don't get your money back it's just gone.

I do agree that getting rid of the physical games is a problem. I have a massive collection myself, but at the same time, the vertical stand was a bad idea due to the way the system was designed

sooo this is only have true. They are only starting release with a digital console with a 2tb hard drive. you can buy a disc drive for it. the vertical stand happened with the slim already sadly.

We can't trust Sony with digital purchases. The ps5 can play our ps3, psp, ps vita games through emulation and therefore all psn purchases should work on it but they don't. Yet on Steam....

There's nothing inherently wrong with disc less console idea. However, they could remove people's games on a dime,say they never bought & try to get people to repurchase what they bought. 1/2

pro supports the modular disc drive just like the new slim models. granted it's pricey as hell but it will support physical disc's for a price point as well as having a 2tb storage.
