Personally, I just can’t get behind Montessori past kindergarten age. I’ve had students transfer from Montessori into my public school and they have always been far behind their same-aged peers.

My child is too feral for a Montessori environment. And it’s sad, cause do you know how great this type of curriculum actually is. I wish we had a school like this available to us.

doesn't this set them up to be unable to process an unprepared environment? like walking into work and things are missing, there's delays in shipment, someone called in sick who had the project docs..

I had kiddos transfer from Montessori classes mid year into my traditional kindergarten class and not single kid could tell me the beginning letter for their name.
