I had a dr tell me I was type 1 at 30 but then every dr I met after said no it’s type 2 because you can’t get type 1 after a certain age ☹️idk anymore but I’m my husbands type 😂

So crazy!! My dad was diagnosed first, when he was 7 years old ( Type 1 ) then my grandpa was diagnosed at 34 ( they diagnosed him as a Type 2 insulin dependent because he got it over 18 years old 🤔

Iv learned if any family member had auto immune that can show differently in family members. Im the only one with crohns but diabetes runs in family

This happened to me. I was diagnosed is 2017. No one in my family has it. I also got diagnosed with celiac and hypothyroidism which nobody else in my family has.

I had the EXACT thing. I’m a pediatric critical care nurse but my first pregnancy was misdiagnosed as gestational. Right after my first child was born I got my diagnosis of Type 1 and hashimotos. 9 years
