My dad passed when I was 3, my only vidid memory I have of/with him is that he would take me to Waffle House what felt like everyday and days when he didn’t I’d sometimes wake up to one in the fridge.

Met him 25 yrs ago. He was working the grill at a WH on Christmas Eve. I recognized him from his pic on the menu. He gave me a camo wh hat and signed it along with Bert the Bert’s chili guy.

I’ve worked for Waffle House since 2008 as a district manager. I’ve met most of the executives of the company at some point and met with Walt many times. He was the most humble of them all.

Friends brother in law was visiting from Australia he video recorded the prices in ABC store, Sam’s Club, Levi Jeans etc He saw a Waffle House he insisted to eat there bc he heard about it
