pictures before the ceremony always made more sense, especially when you have small children in the party or it is an outdoor ceremony there are some cool candidates and staged photos from my parents

I did first look, all ours and bridal party photos before ceremony. After ceremony I took 15 min to take family photos with just immediate family and then we were able to eat, drink and mingle with everyone. Then we were able to get more photos with friends and extended family during cocktail hour.

1st wedding was ceremony, immediately to a cake only reception (very short), fake departure, then circled back for photos & full dinner w just close family & wedding party. Eloped the 2nd time 😉

Absolutely we don’t need a two hour cocktail party without that much food. I always suggest for the couple to go into their room and have 15 minutes of their time together.

We did cocktail hour and just did a couple photos. Did separate ones before the ceremony. Felt odd doing an entrance though after we were with everyone just minutes before 😅😂

We had a friend do our photos and wanted them to enjoy the rest of the night so we did all the photos before the ceremony. We took a sec to catch our breath then went out to cocktail hour

Love this!! The only 2 photos we have left to do after ceremony is 1 group shot on each side. Otherwise doing everything before so we can enjoy the cocktail hour we paid for!!!
