PvP gear is actually worth getting some pieces of now. You can upgrade pieces to set pieces for PvE, and they swap depending on content. Conquest is a pain to farm though.

What does full pvp gear ilvl come out to? Get to delves t8 then do bountiful ones get champ gear, maybe get lucky and get a delvers bounty that gives a hero piece. I got to 597 with just delves.
