My business just hit a new milestone of more than half a million in revenue since March 2021 when I launched it. It's got me thinking about my very first coaching call ever. I remember being so scared, and nervous, and spending hours preparing for it. At the time, I felt like an imposter. Like who was I to be helping folks figure out their budgets and help them navigate their overall money situation. In fact-- I was offering the calls for free, just to get my feet wet and see if I really could help people. I remember that first call. The woman had taken my $35 budgeting workshop, and realized that maybe budgeting and money management didn't need to be so scary. She came to the call overwhelmed, called her situation a "dumpster fire" and then we dove in together. There were moments when she cried. There were moments when we laughed. There were moments where I could SEE the burden on her shoulders get a little bit lighter. And by the end of the call-- she was smiling. We had a plan. And that felt good. After that very first call, I was hooked. For me, there is no better feeling than helping someone go from overwhelmed, and stressed, and feeling trapped in their situation-- to showing them the way out... and helping them get there. It is unmatched. And with that fire in me that knew this was what I was meant to be doing--- I went all in on Clo Bare. There were times when I had 60+ 1:1 coaching calls in a month-- most of which were 2 hours each. And no matter how many times I raised my prices, I'd sell out in 24 hours. This made me realize that 1:1 coaching wasn't scaleable-- I could only help so many people through that format and I'd burn out so fast if I stayed on that path. So, by December 2021-- I launched the Lazy Investor's Community... and nothing has been the same since. In 1:1 coaching, I helped hundreds transform their finances. But in the first year of the Lazy Investing community? I've helped nearly a thousand folks become investors. And that feeling? Being able to witness the transformation? It's never gone away. I'm so proud of the work I do. I'm so proud of the community I've built. I'm so proud of my little legion of lazy investors taking control of their finances.
