@thelipsticklesbians: Replying to @fizzsinclair A lot of people have mixed feelings about @Huda Beauty’s latest launch, the Easy Blur Foundation and Primer packaging saying it looks cheap because it’s made of plastic. From a product development perspective, it's true that plastic packaging, especially a squeeze tube, costs significantly less than glass. But I think Huda's choice wasn't about cutting corners. Instead I believe she decided to allocate the budget that would have gone into fancy packaging into developing a high-quality formula. Her core audience LOVES high-performing, long-wear products, so it makes sense that she would prioritize that over a more expensive-looking bottle. For $37, I can confirm the formula is beautiful and really delivers on what it says. IMHO, a ""toddle"" (a tube-bottle) is actually easier to use than a glass component too! This is just my opinion but speaking as someone with experience in the beauty industry, I think she made a smart choice here! A luxorious packaging doesn’t always equal a luxurious formula.
