Calling it a “smart watch” is a bit of a misnomer, they are small computers that happen to tell time. Totally agree that the disposability of smart watches makes them less desirable for me.

Smart watch will stop updating around 4 or 5 years , battery will need replacing and it’s cheaper to get new Apple Watch. Automatics will last a life time if looked after and serviced, quartz will
