I was in kindergarten. my teacher got a phone call from another teacher, and she turned on the news on the little rollout TV. At first she didn't show us anything but so many kids were being pulled out of class that it didn't matter. My mom told me what was going on when she picked me up. Every year I remember specifically going to the auditorium with every student and watching documentaries, point of views from different cameras, and listening to voicemails from the people on the plane. This was traumatizing to our generation. I remember when a documentary was released when I was in 9th grade. It showed people JUMPING. I remember specifically someone recorded a body falling out of the trade center! This moment in history created fear for the USA... and Trump was happy that now had the tallest building. "An amazing phone call" is what he called it..

The world stopped if you were by a tv or radio. I remember watching it in class at school. The panic from the teachers and principal realizing it wasn’t a crash and we were under attack and all in possible danger.

I‘m from Germany. I remember leaving a meeting a seeing a crowd in front of of a small tv watching the news. I went straight home being shocked in disbelief. Never felt more connected to the US
