@nathsway: Exploring the world’s oldest rainforest 🐊 Located 100km north of Cairns in Tropical North Queensland, the Daintree Rainforest is one of the most unique places on earth. This ancient rainforest dates back 135 million years ago which is tens of millions of years older than the Amazon Rainforest! Having spent most of my life living and working in Victoria, I’ve always dreamed of driving up to the Daintree one day and it felt so surreal to tick this region off the bucket list. From stunning mountain ranges to picturesque boardwalks, there is so much to explore in this magical part of the world.
