My cat HATES the smell of anything citrus so I bought an orange scented room spray and spray it on the things I don’t want her scratching. U have to reapply often though

Definitely get a cat tree. Helped a lot but my cats still do unfortunately. Def get the claw tips

My cat uses a cat tree that's super close to the couch!! My cat thinks about scratching the couch then runs to his tree lol. Also if they try, you could use a spray bottle with water to try to prevent

Theres a clear acrylic plastic you can put on the sides of your couch for this reason!

i’ve tried multiple things and the only thing that works for me is the little glue on claw caps. ABSOLUTELY do not get them declawed!!! It is so bad for than!!

Anti scratch tape!!! You put it on the cushion and once their paws get sticks a few times it trains them to not scratch it

I use the no scratch spray it works. Also they’ve started peeing in my plants so be aware of that too if you get plants😭
