Not always. In the military we have our own way to use sign numbers. But I agree, ASL numbers are better.

It’s way more convenient to sign the asl numbers! I started practicing the numbers in asl class and now it’s the only way I count on my hands!

i was taught that numbers 1-5 the hand is facing you and then the rest are not facing you then it starts getting confusing from numbers 67-98

Numbers sign language ASL for come from Mexico 🇲🇽 they usually to using numbers sign language that’s why. It’s apart sign language with numbers, because I know. Nice work 👍🏼
