Indome in Saudi Arabia too. Big in the Middle East. I’ll say it’s the most successful brand of noodles

What always surprising me is when I see italian feel violated about noodle whenever they see someone or asian cooked it in their own cultural way? It's not like pasta or noodles originated in italy. Pasta/noodles were invented in China, etruscans an ancient civilization in Italy, were making pasta like foods, but this was influenced by the arrival of noodles it came to Italy from Asia via Arab traders, possibly through the Silk Road. pasta like foods were consumed in China as early as 2000 BCE, while Etruscans in Italy started making pasta by the 4th century BCE and common misconception? the popular story that Marco Polo introduced pasta to Italy from China in the 13th century is a myth, as pasta was already known in China and Europe before his travels.

Indomie is just so Indonesian. it couldn’t be more representative. ‘Indo’ is short for Indonesia, and ‘mie’ is the Indonesian word for noodles. The name itself perfectly captures its origin.
