The "destroy walls" tip is actually horrible as I lose more troops than when I use siege towers combined with fire catapult

I just build trebuchets one at a time and remove them the moment they are built. Do this for each slot, then slap all 4 down at the same time and it overwhelms any defense and makes holes in each wall

How do you guard yourself from attacking armies that come to defend while you’re sieging? I have low influence but everytime I start a siege with 4-5hundred men a army of 1500 comes and just whips me

if u ambush while defending, retreat your own soldiers instantly and try to damage the trebuchet urself. but DONT destroy them fully. Once they are 1hp retreat to the castle and the siege will start automatically. then you will notice their siege equipment is still 1hp en will be destroyed after 1 hit. the ai is easily avoidable in an ambush and u can often just ignore them while u are destroying there siege equipment

Catapults are great both offensively and defensively actually IN the battle. Catapults can annihilate enemy troops before your siege equipment breaks the gate or arrives at the wall.

Build trebuchets and when they are set up pause the game and put them in reserve before they take damage then set them all up at the same time you’ll only lose maybe one

The way I usually do it, if I’m attacking, I will build the trebuchet and then move it to reserve I do that for all four and then move them all from reserve
