Yeh, if my WL gsd gets an e-collar correction it just pissess him off. My previous shepherd would have a panic attack if I said no to loudly.

I will say as someone from the same area, I don't know many actual sport dog trainers who are actually competing do pet dog trainer. I think a lot of these "sport trainers" are not going to good

It’s hard to see trainers that don’t acknowledge the fear/anxiety - fear and anxiety is complex to resolve in humans, who have language, logic, and can opt into therapy…

A lot of pet dogs are also struggling against poor genetics and insecurities borne from lack of structure in the home. A well bred sport dog likely don't have these issues.
