So a thick wax can go into threads but not a thin liquid. 🤔

How would it move past it if you are heating it up? It’s going to burn off while inside the slide, but this doesn’t show that it didn’t penetrate?

Dems silence w/they can'tdeny :
has nothing to do with anything.... the heat heats the outer threads it expands....... spraying the bold or using crayon whatever ,cools the bolt. it shrinks.... even water works.

see my other comment. Best way to get that out is PB blaster work it back and forth and then tap it out with a screwdriver and a hammer.
2024-09-13 12:05:58

Deke :
Don't put wax on a pin like that it's going to seal it and create a vacuum and it's going to make it more difficult to get that pin out.

you see you're supposed to heat it up and then when you spray the PB blaster on it the heat sucks it in

know if you heat it up first then put PB blaster and it sucks it in. I do this with abs sensors and speed sensor. cuz you have to be cautious with plastic
