And honestly? That's exactly what we want. A wombat that tells us to nick off is a wombat that's ready. But it's bittersweet, this one. Because Rocco's been a huge part of Ashlee's life. She fed him every bottle, kept him warm, played with him, learned to do so much alongside him. Watching her hold him one last time before he goes wild... yeah. That's a big one. 🥹 We scatter the carrots, we say our goodbyes, and we let him go be the wild wombat we raised him to be. That's the whole point. Doesn't make it easy.
