For some people that’s a cultural thing in my families culture babies/toddlers ears are pierced

i was 3 months old and i’m glad i didn’t have to do it when i was older and it was already done but it’s completely understandable why parents would want to wait to ask their child x

1000% I wasn't allowed my ears done till I was 12/13. with my daughter she's 6 but I will wait to ask me if she can have them done. I don't agree with baby's having it done either. X

people forget the risk of infection and little babies don't have the best immune systems and go to cheap places as more expensive normally refusem

I had to be ten to get mine done when I was 13 I did the dishwasher everyday for 4 months to be able to get my seconds after a year of begging I'm not allowed to get anymore untill I can go myself

I waited for my girl to tell me when she wanted them doing, all her friends had then now got them done shes looked after them so well no problems x

I got my daughters done at 7 months. She’s cried harder for a bottle😂But at 1 1/2 she started asking to have them in in the morning. She’s almost 3 and still asks to wear them🤷🏻♀️

I just feel that it’s a choice! When my daughter asks me and understands the aftercare, then she can have it done 🤷🏻♀️

My daughter doesn’t have them pierced and that’s cause I want her to choose to get them and I want to do it with the needle and not the gun cause I feel like that hurts more.

I was 15. I think it's really good to have "rites of passage" as you're growing up. things to aspire to are good. kids don't need to have everything immediately. xx

My step daughter had hers done before she was 1 and now she’s grown she doesn’t like that her parents did it, says the placement is wrong because ears never stop growing.

i had my girls ears pierced at 12months because she was bald(selfish of me i know) and i regret it as she’s 7 now and has holes as she never worn earrings as one just kept falling out.
