Unfortunately some shelters won’t adopt out dogs if you leave the house for work all day. I’m lucky enough to work from home, but that’s the main reason I was able to adopt a 2nd dog.

I worked 12+ hours 6 days a week & still found time to go home for breaks & before & after work spend time with my foster! Never better in stressful kennel environment better in safe cozy quiet home

thank you🫶🏼 i feel bad leaving my shelter doggy home alone while im at work in my apartment and i think if she would’ve been better off with another family but she was on the euthanasia list😔

Sadly most out on the street may have a chain kennel but they don’t get to leave it they trapped with whatever their owner brings em if they bring anything at all
