@bratbustersparenting: I start playing with my kids more and more, and then they want me to play more and more, what to do? To start, I always say that play is your kid’s love language, but I understand you also as a parent need to get things done. So it’s about setting the rules and expectations ahead of time; I recommend using a timer if you know you’ll only have a set amount of time before you need to move on to something else. When that timer goes, they will get used to the ding indicating fun's over. Not sure where to start in your calm leadership journey? Check out my BratBusters Behaviour Board (for ages three and older) that I send to my parenting newsletter, linked in my bio. Then, if you’re interested in learning the tools I teach for parenting like a calm leader, check out the BratBusters Bootcamps, linked in my bio. ` ` ` #ParentingTools #Parenting #RaisingKids #ParentingTips #ParentingGoals #ParentingCoaching #ParentingConnection #ParentingGuidance

play as much as you can Mommies! they are growing up, they won't stay little for much time. y'all only have 8 or 9 years then they don't want you playing.

I feel guilty when I set a timer for play...🙁 I don't want my son to feel it is a chore for me - although it often is 😁
