I say this from the depths of my heart.. Please.. Please put your ego and pride aside to allow a licensed physician to become the surgeon general. So many lives are on the line. Science and discoveries are being made thus diverse progress needs to happen to help those in need. I promise you are intelligent and special in your own way. The US needs someone with genuine experience.

I've seen a video today that even at farmers markets, the vendors are buying from the grocery stores and reselling as their own 🤔

But our farmers market is MUCH more expensive than buying organic at the store. It's frustrating. plus, it's not always stuff they grew. ugh!

Sounds great in theory but not everyone has access to those options. Food insecurity, lack of transportation, food desserts make this sound like a fairy tale.

My state and many others not only accept snap at many markets, but the market will double or even triple your money. The one I sell at gives you $30 for your $10 in SNAP.

Sounds wonderful in theory, but how can anyone AFFORD organic and fresh with inflation prices so insane. Detached reality - Whole Foods in select areas and expensive. Apples are $3-4 per lb / organic

I agree with this, however farmers markets are very expensive. We just need to be more self sustainable, & learn to grow our own food & teach our children how to do the same thing, working together as community and create more co-ops will help make good more affordable & accessible, get rid of the big corps & middle man
