I was put on 5mg letrozole straight up, and even then my follicles didn’t grow that much. The only thing I noticed side affect wise, I was very emotional. I’m back next week to get another dose.

I had this last cycle letrozole did nothing so they then put me on clomid same cycle for another 5 days and that did the job. I ended up with a 11mm lining and 21mm follicle.

I usually have long cycles and after taking Letrozle for 5 days my follicles didn’t grow for about another week. At the end I had one that grew to 22 cm.

I’ve shared before how my medicated cycles have gone. I think being the first round they do have to be a bit cautious to not over stimulate as they’ll cancel the whole cycle if overstimulated.

I had no side effects on any dose of letrozole. I haven’t taken 2 lots in 1 cycle but even on let I would ovulate CD15-22 so maybe just too early?

I’ve done a second dose in the same cycle, and it was fine, no issues. That cycle was longer than 30 days and did end up in a pregnancy which was later a chemical pregnancy.

CD10 is quite early for a scan! Do you usually have a textbook 28 day cycle? Interested to see how double rounds of Letrozole within one cycle will go..

I also struggle to respond to just Letrozole. I had to take 10mg Letrozole, with Dexamethasone & 200mg Clomid to respond 🙁 it wasn’t fun but it did the trick. 💛

it's so hard, I completely understand how you would feel. a lot of these situations are horrible because you have to wait to see if it works. praying that it gets better for you. 🖤

@Lana | Motherhood + TTC 🤍 I read that ovulation induction doesn't change the time of ovulation.. rather it remains almost the same as a natural cycle.. ask this from your doc for clarity

I didn’t have a lot of luck with 2.5mg Letrozole for my ovulation induction cycles. I never did a second round of Letrozole in a cycle but I’m now doing embryo transfers with 5mg (and a trigger shot if needed) and it seems to be working better… still a little slow but definitely working! I haven’t noticed much by way of symptoms with this dose. Wishing you all the best.🤞🏼❤️

My scans were day 10-12 on Letrozole I found 5mg didn’t have any side effects, we switched to gonal f injections and used a trigger shot as I wasn’t ovulating on my own and saw a difference :) 💜
