I called the cops when my college roommate and her boyfriend attacked me and they arrested me!! I had to pay fines and all sorts of other crap. I will NEVER forget that when I think of police.

I’ve called the police 2-3 times about abuse from my BD. They would talk to me and seem nice then talk to him and turn around and glare at me then leave. I don’t call no more. They don’t help me.

I work at a dv/sa shelter for women and their children. Police are SO ill trained when it comes to any type of dv, it makes me so angry

This happened to me. It was my own house he was refusing to leave after a breakup. I never touched him. He lied, and despite security footage showing I was telling the truth I was arrested.
