1/10 is much easier to keep in your head. And normally I do these things in indesign. That just allows 216 inch max document size. So sometimes you have to work at a scale

I always use this way, 'if I have 500cm x 200cm I divide it by 10 then I put the resolution on (500) then I flatter the design then export as PDF' it always come clean and in Normal dimensions.

Do do full size with less DPI anything over 3 m make the DPI less than 50 and whenever the size is bigger by meters go less DPI I 20 m x 12 m with 25 DPI and I can go less than this I can go 15 DPI
