I tried to set up biweekly mortgage payments for this reason and there’s literally no way to do it with my lender😭 like I budget it this way but I hate that they don’t allow partial payments online.

my power, truck insure, cable, cell bills (due mid month) are usually equal to my mortgage (due beginning month) so we do pay mortgage out of first check & other bills out of second check!

Yes… for us I put the same amount to bills every paycheck leaving the same extra every paycheck for extra debt, groceries and spending but basic bills spending is the same every paycheck especially

Yep. We have a system where we have separate accounts for the mortgage, the utilities and the car. We have an account that receives most of our income each to fund each of those account.

As a banker I devoted so much time teaching teens how to pay their bills w/o losing their entire check.Splitting bills between checks to cover the coming month is so essential to predictable finances!

When I turned 18 and moved out this is how I did it 1/2 from each check and I thought it was common knowledge until people started talking about it and I realized most people don’t split it. 😳😮

I pay mortgage and all the monthly bills on 1 check…yes i have a very affordable mortgage but groceries killing us. Hubby check is savings we live on 1 persons income! So we still struggle kinda

our rent is 950. my brother (roommate) pays 350, my husband pays 300 twice a month. I don't understand people who do it all at once.
