Ugh, I hate those type of appointments! I had one similar 1.5 months ago. Dr said no uti. I wound up in the ER last week. Uti had traveled to my kidney.

Dr Dismissive should have told you upfront they’d send it out for more testing! Ugh also: D-mannose is a supplement that is helpful in preventing UTIs, which is a fun fact I wish I’d known sooner.

I went to urgent care once for sudden onset back pain and feeling sick and dizzy. Eventually saw the dr who said ‘oh probably a pulled muscle’ and as I was leaving ‘oh did you do a urine sample?’

At my last dr there was a space on the form that said “LMP_______” and I left it blank because it didn’t apply to me clearly and then the doctor asked if I didn’t have periods and I was like what no I do I just had one and she was like why didn’t you write that next to Last Menstrual Period and how was I suppose to know that’s what that’s was?
