as a suggestion my cat seems to really like the vetoquinol brand of cat toothpaste in the poultry flavor, I got him a round silicone cat toothbrush and rub the toothpaste in and he just chews on it!

There’s a brush that goes all the way around the toothbrush that my cat likes, he just bites it so it’s not like brushing

also, get him used to cutting his nails early! we do it when my cat is asleep and he might slightly pull his paw away but he lets us do it. he sometimes even purrs lmao

Check out the Veterinary Oral Health Council website! They have a list of accepted products that they recommend. I think Healthymouth is the brand of toothpaste they recommend

Hills science diet oral care food does wonders to keep their teeth clean without having to brush them! My cat had gum disease before the oral care food but now his teeth and gums are squeaky clean!
